Ok so whos done it and did you have trouble in PA to pass emissions without it?

Technically, you may not alter any portion of the emissions equiipment on any vehicle operated on PA roads.
In reality, it all depends on the inspector.

You might pass tailpipe test but if they look under the hood at all, they might fail you.

There is no tail pipe test for his car in PA 96+ get an obd2 plug in.

Ah well in that case, you might pass. I guess if you pass that then it's a 50/50 whether pay attention to anything under the hood.

I have friends who work in a shop so I'm good to go :lol: I still have all hosing in engine bay, but since I got "race" headers they don't have the air recirculation. Pretty much, as long as you're not throwing a code and the inspector isn't completely knowledgeable about F-body's you are fine.

that's the good thing about obdII ...when it gets scanned for the test, it only looks to see if codes are thrown. So make sure that is not the case and also that you just didn't clear a code right before you went...because it will fail then too. The computer picks up that a code was just cleared.
